Končar Group, the leading Croatian technological and industrial giant, confirms its status as a key driver of the domestic capital market in 2025. Its shares are the most liquid, with the highest turnover and significant influence on the movement of the leading stock market indices, as well as business results and market capitalization, which set new records.
Dominance on the Zagreb Stock Exchange
Končar’s shares are regularly the most actively traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, often achieving a daily turnover of several million euros, which makes them crucial for the overall liquidity of the market.
Due to the considerable weight in the CROBEX index (about 10%), the price movement of Končar shares directly affects the overall result of the domestic market. In the first half of 2025, the growth of Končar’s shares was one of the main reasons for the index’s double-digit growth.
The share of Končar strengthened by an additional 39% in the first six months of 2025, and the preferred shares of Končar D&ST recorded a jump of as much as 88% compared to the end of 2023.
Financial results and capitalization
In 2024, Končar achieved consolidated revenues of € 1.06 billion (+18.1% compared to 2023), and net profit amounted to € 163.3 million, more than double the previous year’s figure.
At the end of 2024, the market capitalization of Končar exceeded 1.1 billion euros, and by mid-2025, it is expected to be around 1.37 billion euros, making Končar one of the most valuable companies on the domestic market.
More than 70% of revenues are generated outside Croatia, primarily in the European Union market, where exports in 2024 reached € 551.7 million.
Key success factors
At the end of 2024, Končar had contracts worth more than 2 billion euros, and new agreements almost entirely cover the plan for 2025.
The management proposed a dividend payment of 3 euros per share, further increasing the attractiveness of the shares among investors.
The production of electrical equipment and the energy transition in Europe further favor the growth of Končar, and the company is recognized as a leader in innovation and export.

Without the shares of Končar and several banks, the growth of the domestic capital market would have been significantly weaker. In 2025, Končar is the most critical driver of optimism and turnover on the stock exchange.
