The Croatian Tourist Board has announced a competition to select directors for the markets of Benelux, France, Italy, Germany, and the United States of America. Interested candidates can apply until July 22, 2025.

In Germany, the Croatian Tourist Board also has a representative office in Munich, responsible for Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and Switzerland. The office in Berlin will cover the rest of the country.
Term of office and conditions
All directors are elected for a term of four years. Candidates must have:
- Completed undergraduate and graduate university studies, integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies, or specialist graduate professional studies,
- At least four years of work experience in management positions in tourism or marketing in tourism, or at least six years of work experience in management positions,
- Active knowledge of one foreign language and understanding of another language relevant to the representation market.
- Knowledge of the market itself,
- Proposal of a four-year activity plan of the representative office, CV, and other necessary documents.
Existing directors can also apply for tenders, under the same conditions as new candidates.
Goals and expectations
HTZ is looking for professional and proactive staff who will further strengthen the promotion of Croatia as an attractive, high-quality, and year-round destination on key broadcasting markets. Special emphasis is placed on the ability of strategic planning, communication skill,s and recognition of the importance of sustainable and balanced tourism development.
