The new year on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) began in the same tone it ended the last one: the Crobex index rose for a fifth consecutive trading session on Friday morning, extending the positive momentum on Croatia’s capital market. At around 10:30 a.m., Crobex was up 0.14% (3,862 points), while Crobex10 gained 0.46% (2,472 points), recovering all of the previous day’s losses.

Turnover and most-traded stocks
Total regular turnover by 10:30 a.m. stood at roughly €520,000, about €250,000 less than at the same time the day before. Trading was concentrated in a handful of names:
- HPB – close to €180,000 in turnover; the share price was unchanged at €314
- Končar D&ST (preferred) – around €120,000; the price was up 0.6% to €3,580
- Končar – about €60,000; the price was up 1.4% to €710
Movers in early trading
Among the more notable moves:
- Ing-Grad: up 0.7% to €55.40
- Zagrebačka banka: down 1.25% to €23.70
- Končar D&ST (ordinary): unchanged at €3,760
The bigger picture: extending the 2025 trend
This “green” opening to 2026 continues last year’s trend—the article notes that Crobex indices rose by more than 20% in 2025, providing a strong base for optimism at the start of the new trading year.
